About the Photographs

The Photographs in this collection were taken by Mike Kelly, who at the time
owned and operated the Plain Grain Photography Studio in St. Ansgar, Iowa.

In 1976, a book of the complete collection of Mitchell County Business photographs
was compiled and donated to the Mitchell County Historical Museum in Osage, Iowa.

In 2006, the photographs were brought out of the vault and made available
in celebration of the 150th Celebrations of Osage and Stacyville, Iowa.
