 A long, long time ago(or at least it seems that way now) a rowdy, hard-working crew descended upon the pristine valley of the Jackson River in Bath County, VA. To go there now you would never know this primitive archeological research civilization had ever pitched tents, anchored portajohns & made merry on the floodplains of the Jackson. Certainly less evidence remains than the artifacts these hardy souls rescued from the impending bulldozers that trudged through the sites.
