Reunion August 21-22-23, 1981

The 5 year class reunion was organized by Marilyn Pitzen. Friday night kegger at Keith & Marilyn Pitzen's. The Saturday event was in Lyle at the Silver Saddle (Dance) with the band "The Root River Ramblers". Then (weren't we energetic back then?) a family picnic was held at the park in Grafton on Sunday. Some of the class members had new kids to show off!

Reunion August 9, 1986

We rented the Carpenter Community Center - this probably brought back some memories of gym classes at the Carpenter school before it closed. It was at this reunion that we donated a picture to the St. Ansgar High School Library in memory of our deceased classmates. The picture was painted by Ann Kruger.

Reunion August 3, 1991
We celebrated at the Park Golf Course in St. Ansgar.

Reunion July 5, 1996
We again gathered at the Park Golf Course (It helps to have an inside connection). Cocktails at 5:30 were followed by a 7:00 pm dinner. Later in the evening d.j. Harry O with lots of help entertained the crowd. 84 people attended. Reunion committee included: Jane (Krebsbach) McKinley, Kathy (Feldt) Wiebbecke & Joe Marzen.
They were assisted by: Pam (Ask) Marzen & Candi (Cole) Feldt.

Reunion August 4, 2001


About 80+ gathered at the Osage VFW for a dinner of chicken or prime rib. Following dinner we took a class photo and had a few toasts with champagne in our Class of '76 commemorative champagne flutes. A video highlighting homecoming, graduation and the past two reunions was shown. Memorial donations were given to the St. Ansgar Heritage Museum and the St. Ansgar Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Fund. Reunion committee included: Sandra Huemann-Kelly, Carol (Knutson) Callahan and Nancy (Wilder) Hackenmiller. Footage featured in the 25th Reunion DVD includes program/toasts and registration Cam.

Reunion July 22, 2006


At the late night suggestion by Rory Navratil (at the 25th Reunion), we gathered at the Grafton Community Center on a beautiful Iowa evening in July. The weather was almost perfect! The reunion committee decorated with lattice and red, white and blue (our colors forever). The catered dinner featured turkey (Remember, we were in Grafton) and beef sandwiches, potatoes, salads & fruit. Following dinner we took a class photo and Mike Kelly was recognized as an honorary classmate. The video program highlighting homecoming, graduation and the past three reunions was running and copies were available for sale along with group photos from the 25th and 30th Reunion. Reunion committee included: Monica (Johnson) Hemann (should list Myron here too - I saw him carrying lots of things to the car late Saturday night), Kari Jordahl (Fomon), Kathy (Feldt) Wiebbecke and Marty Williamson. Much discussion was held and surveys were completed regarding planning future reunions for our class.
