Historic Documentaries
Family - Community - Business

 film reel
The history of any family, community or business is a story waiting to be told. Video is the perfect medium for presenting collections of print items such as photographs, paintings, slides, maps and other items. It is also an ideal way to combine film footage of various formats including 8mm, super 8 and 16mm. We pride ourselves in the attention paid to handling your precious items carefully and reproducing them to best present their fine details.

We Handle All Footage & Precious Items
With Extreme Care!

film reel   We strive to document the Iowa Motion pictures made by amateurs who included footage of their communities as well as their families. Some of the best examples of glimpses into the past are provided by the film archives of the Home Movie Era. With local history videos, the inclusion of old movie footage is considered by many to be "icing on the cake". The films of Leon Thomas of Mason City, Iowa and Mr. H.S. Waldorf of Vinton are excellent examples of this genré.

We invite you to consider transferring your home movies to video so that you may realize the many benefits of sharing them with a wider audience. Discounts are available on volume transfers. We can reproduce as many high quality copies as you like from the completed transfer footage. Silent footage comes alive with the addition of narration and/or music to complement the action. Contact us for other ideas and samples of our work. We can also assist with financing ideas.
